Wi-Fi Certification Solutions

The Wi-Fi Alliance certification program is a series of standardized interoperability tests to ensure industry wide ubiqutous Wi-Fi. The Alliance has two approved standard test methodologies for Wi-Fi Certification. Vendors can use the original Wi-Fi Certification methodology designed for PCs and Access Points which is currently used for the legacy 802.11a/b/g certification and for the new emerging 802.11n Draft-2.0 certification or the Wi-Fi Alliance Test Engine methodology. The Test Engine methodology is targeted at ASDs with embedded Wi-Fi connectivity, and can be used for any Wi-Fi device that is designed to support the approach. . Azimuth provides automated Wi-Fi certification test solutions for both approved methods both over the air or in controlled RF test configurations.

The table below provides “at a glance” information on the capabilities of Azimuth’s Wi-Fi Certification test solutions.
