The Azimuth AzCert Wi-Fi Certification Test Suite enables semiconductor vendors and device manufacturers to validate the interoperability of 802.11a, b, g and dual-band devices with WPA2™ and WMM™. Conducting pre-certification testing enabled by this test suite ensures that semiconductor vendors and device manufactures know that their products will pass Wi-Fi Certification before they go for formal certification.

The AzCert Wi-Fi Certification Test Suite for APs and Client Devices enables users to:
- Reduce certification test time and cost through "pre-certification" testing which ensures a product will pass Wi-Fi Alliance certification test plans the first time
- Reduce test time from days to hours through test automation
- Run pre-certification as a nightly regression test rather than a final QA test
- Save results until all tests are complete which saves time by allowing users to re-run only the tests that failed previously
- Troubleshoot issues in their own labs with Azimuth-generated results provided by the Wi-Fi test lab (as appropriate)
- Test a wide range of 802.11a/b/g clients including CardBus, MiniPCI, USB, and embedded Wi-Fi devices
- Collect, correlate, and analyze test data from multiple sources using STUDIOTM, Azimuth's test data management tool
- Reliably duplicate test results with Azimuth RadioProof™ Enclosures
The AzCert Wi-Fi Certification Test Suite for APs and Client Devices runs on Azimuth’s award-winning W-Series platform. All tests are managed by Azimuth's DIRECTOR™ Test Executive software, and results can be easily shared using Azimuth's STUDIO™ Test Data Management software.
Azimuth provides automated scripts for both the mandatory WPA2 converged test bed as well as the optional WMM test bed, including:
- AzCert Wi-Fi Alliance Certification of PC/AP for WPA2 Test Script
- AzCert Wi-Fi Alliance Certification of PC/AP for WMM Test Script
